- Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment
- Perform component operation modifications and upgrades
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams
- Recommend improvements to fabrication processes, techniques, and equipment
- Assist in other manufacturing departments
- Train and mentor staff on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Handle, cut, weld, and assemble materials
- Perform precision measurements and inspections
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance
- Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct”
- Comply with Environmental and Safety regulations
- Comply with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in a scenic, carpentry, or fabrication shop
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software
- Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar
- Demonstrated ability to: Follow written and verbal instructions in English, Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines, Work as a team and/or independently, Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy, Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Welding certification
- Duties are generally performed indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, in a 24-hour per day, seven days per week manufacturing environment.
- Handling and working with hazardous materials and chemical manufacturing equipment is routine.
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
- Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe.
Shift/Hours/Location
Monday- Friday, 6am-4:30pm
Onsite Moses Lake, WA

Summary pay range: $25-$41/hour
