Mechanical Estimator

Job Summary

Congratulations on your interest in the Mechanical Construction Estimator position at The Waldinger Corporation. This role will involve conducting high-level estimation and leading the bidding process for small to mid-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assembles estimates within the department.
• Delegates estimating duties to engineers as required to maintain the bid schedule.
• Maintains database of project history and results.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of system software, providing all users with updated information.
• Develops conceptual plan and specification bid procedures and standards to improve consistency and efficiency of the estimating process.
• Develops successful client relationships, marketing company products and services.
• Solicits bid schedules from general contractors.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience estimating construction projects
• Average Associate's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Technical Training Program Completion
• No travel required
