About the role

As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our Wilmington branch, supporting engineering and manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and implement mechanical systems and components.
  • Conducting tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
  • Assisting in the creation of detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Supporting the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a mechanical engineering technologist role or similar.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes (an asset).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay

The starting annual salary range for this role is from $45,000 to $65,000 USD depending on experience and qualifications (inclusive of base salary and performance incentive).

Schedule
