About the role
Aid engineers in creating and assembling custom Thermal/Mechanical fixtures by sourcing and machining parts, hardware, and plumbing components for liquid cooling test fixtures. Support engineers with thermal evaluations of power supplies, prepare modules for testing, assemble modules into test fixtures, and capture and present data.
Responsibilities
- Create and source mechanical/machined parts, hardware, and plumbing components for custom Thermal/Mechanical fixtures
- Support Mechanical/Thermal Engineers with thermal evaluations of DC-DC and AC-DC component power supplies
- Add test leads, thermocouples, and components to power supply modules for testing
- Assemble power supply modules into custom mechanical/thermal test fixtures, including thermal management solutions, electrical wiring, and digital communication interfaces
- Set up basic electrical test equipment to record Voltage, Current, Power, and Temperature
- Capture thermal and electrical data using semi-automated test equipment during power supply evaluations
- Prepare test data for presentation to Engineers using Microsoft Excel
- Maintain a list of mechanical and electrical test equipment and track calibration dates
- Access corporate databases to gather product specs and production test data
- Interface with various engineering groups to resolve product performance and test setup issues
Qualifications
