About the role

As a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning services, we specialize in highly technical buildings and the systems that bring them to life. We currently have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Co-op with Critical Facilities experience to join our Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities

  • Aid engineers in preparing design documentation
  • Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems
  • Conduct design calculations and sizing for building Mechanical systems
  • Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe
  • Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical engineering
  • At a minimum in your second year
  • Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a huge plus
  • Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
  • Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Enjoy a team environment and be flexible enough to work independently where needed
  • Eager to expand knowledge by challenging yourself and using the highly technical resources around you

Skills

  • Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills
  • Basic design and calculation software proficiency (MS Office Suite)
