What You’ll Do

• Work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.
• Help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.
• Design mechanical systems including water, chilled water, HVAC, wastewater, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam, hot water, compressed air, and plumbing for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial and commercial facilities.
• Work with multidisciplinary project teams and interface with on-site project teams.
• Complete calculations, develop specifications, and oversee mechanical design.
• Handle equipment sizing, hydronic piping system design and selection of mechanical equipment in collaboration with vendors.
• Inspect installations and perform site audits.
• Seal engineering documents.
• Made an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of eight years of experience executing mechanical design on multi-disciplinary projects.
• The ability to complete mechanical system analysis, sizing, design, and report writing.
• Experience in the mechanical design elements of manufacturing and distribution facilities for the food, beverage, dairy, or consumer products industries (preferred).
• Experience in the design of advanced technologies, life sciences, or facility/building mechanical systems including HVAC (air handling units, chemical and laminar fume hoods, unit heaters/coolers), water, chilled water/glycol, wastewater, cold/warm rooms, clean rooms, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam/condensate, hot water, hydronic, compressed gases, or waste/drain (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Revit experience (preferred).
• Experience in refrigeration system design (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with our team members and clients.
• A willingness to relocate to the local area (relocation assistance is for qualified applicants).
• A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions.
• A bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited (institution).
• A professional engineer (PE) license.
