What You’ll Do
- Work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.
- Help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.
- Design mechanical systems including water, chilled water, HVAC, wastewater, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam, hot water, compressed air, and plumbing for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial and commercial facilities.
- Work with multidisciplinary project teams and interface with on-site project teams.
- Complete calculations, develop specifications, and oversee mechanical design.
- Handle equipment sizing, hydronic piping system design and selection of mechanical equipment in collaboration with vendors.
- Inspect installations and perform site audits.
- Seal engineering documents.
- Made an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of eight years of experience executing mechanical design on multi-disciplinary projects.
- The ability to complete mechanical system analysis, sizing, design, and report writing.
- Experience in the mechanical design elements of manufacturing and distribution facilities for the food, beverage, dairy, or consumer products industries (preferred).
- Experience in the design of advanced technologies, life sciences, or facility/building mechanical systems including HVAC (air handling units, chemical and laminar fume hoods, unit heaters/coolers), water, chilled water/glycol, wastewater, cold/warm rooms, clean rooms, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam/condensate, hot water, hydronic, compressed gases, or waste/drain (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Revit experience (preferred).
- Experience in refrigeration system design (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with our team members and clients.
- A willingness to relocate to the local area (relocation assistance is for qualified applicants).
- A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions.
- A bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited (institution).
- A professional engineer (PE) license.
