Mechanical Engineer II / III / IV
Supporting Mechanical Systems
Develop engineering scopes of work, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Create equipment RFQ packages and support procurement activities.
Perform technical bid evaluations and provide equipment recommendations.
Review vendor drawings, calculations, and technical documents for compliance with project requirements.
Conduct field walkdowns and site investigations to gather engineering and construction data.
Support equipment upgrades, replacements, and plant reliability improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, construction, and project management teams.
Technical Expertise
Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and technical reports.
Apply knowledge of heat exchangers, cooling systems, piping systems, metallurgy, and facility operations.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, industry codes, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
5+ years of experience in power generation, utilities, refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, manufacturing, or industrial facilities.
Nuclear experience is a plus but not required.
Experience supporting capital projects, maintenance projects, or equipment upgrades preferred.
Work Schedule
40-hour work week; onsite Monday-Friday in Perry, Ohio.
Per diem available for qualified non-local candidates.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Background Screening
Must be able to successfully complete extensive background screening requirements.

Experience reviewing vendor drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Experience conducting field investigations and site walkdowns
Experience working in operating industrial or utility facilities
