About the role

PROENERGY is an engineering, R&D, and manufacturing powerhouse addressing fast-start power generation needs. The company operates centers for excellence in manufacturing and lifecycle care, with investments in infrastructure and service centers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Auxiliary Systems Design & Engineering: Lead design and functional development of gas turbine auxiliary systems, including fuel gas systems, lube oil and hydraulic systems, fire protection, ventilation, and enclosure systems, skid-mounted packages, heating & cooling systems, and pumping arrangements. Develop and maintain engineering deliverables like F&IDs, GAs, BOMs, design calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Production Support: Support fabrication and assembly operations by producing, reviewing, and maintaining fabrication drawings, developing assembly drawings and instructions, and collaborating with designers, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure constructability, safety, and compliance with codes and standards. Provide engineering support by resolving NCRs, evaluating deviations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Drive product improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Project Support & Execution: Participate in proposal development, technical bid reviews, and cost/manhour estimates. Coordinate design interfaces with internal engineering disciplines and external partners to ensure on-time delivery of engineering deliverables. Support procurement through detailed specifications for auxiliary system and assemblies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Support: Resolve field issues and support root cause analysis (RCA) with field services teams and drive corrective and preventive actions. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability of auxiliary functions. Provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational support onsite or remotely.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Typically 5+ years of experience in power generation/industrial engineering with specific experience in gas turbine auxiliary systems design or support. Practical experience with aeroderivative turbines (e.g., LM6000, LM2500) is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of auxiliary systems such as lubrication, hydraulic units, fuel gas conditioning, air systems, and instrumentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent technical communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams and departments, as well as with external vendors and customers. Results focus with accountability for project deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Discipline.
