Mechanical Engineer
What You’ll Do
- Engineering and design documentation for both new and renovation projects for a variety of facility types within the private, public, federal, and municipal sectors.
- Design will include field investigation of existing facilities, shop drawing review, generation of reports and production of contract drawings.
- Coinciding with multi-disciplinary personnel located in both local and regional offices, sub-consultants, utility companies, equipment vendors and clients.
What You Will Bring
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- PE license or ability to obtain a PE in any state in the United States
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant plumbing fire protection, mechanical design and/or energy related experience
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Active member of relevant industry associations
- Possessing high ethical standards, committed to producing high quality deliverables, and a commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity
- Capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and directing and overseeing junior staff work for same projects
- Capable of working safely at job sites in and around large mechanical and electrical equipment
- Revit 3D experience (or similar) and AutoCAD
- Able to travel locally in New England and occasionally the east coast of the USA for project meetings and site investigation
- Valid driver’s license
Pay
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
