Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and systems used in industrial machinery.
- Prepare Manufacturing Orders (MOs) in support of the scheduling department; ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Analyze workflows and spatial utilization to identify efficiency improvements and support process innovation.
- Set project timelines, monitor progress, and report updates to upper management. Help prepare detailed engineering project proposals.
- Proactively solve problems and contribute to both short- and long-term business goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, scheduling, and purchasing teams to ensure project alignment and timely material availability.
- Participate in meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders; support project management activities.
- Issue Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirm material availability, and visually verify inventory on the production floor when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a hands-on setting.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and scheduling practices.
- Eagerness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
