Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and systems used in industrial machinery.
• Prepare Manufacturing Orders (MOs) in support of the scheduling department; ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Analyze workflows and spatial utilization to identify efficiency improvements and support process innovation.
• Set project timelines, monitor progress, and report updates to upper management. Help prepare detailed engineering project proposals.
• Proactively solve problems and contribute to both short- and long-term business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, scheduling, and purchasing teams to ensure project alignment and timely material availability.
• Participate in meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders; support project management activities.
• Issue Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirm material availability, and visually verify inventory on the production floor when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a hands-on setting.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and scheduling practices.
