Mechanical Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all mechanical engineering records received from project sites from time to time.
• Review and verify mechanical drawings and ensure execution of work strictly as per approved designs and drawings.
• Take full responsibility for all mechanical works at project sites, including coordination and documentation related to UT/RT activities and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) reports.
• Continuously follow up on site mechanical activities and ensure timely reporting of work completed at site.
• Prepare and submit mechanical work reports as required from time to time by management or project teams.
• Prepare PDN special requirement lists for all projects and handle all backend work from Head Office, including:
• Daily DPR preparation
• Cordination and tracking of mechanical activities
• Documentation and reporting
• Visit project sites whenever required and stay at site until the assigned work is fully completed, irrespective of the duration.
• Ensure proper and accurate entries in HDPE/MS registers at site for all executed work.
• Cordinate with the HDPE/MS site team to ensure that all required updates and reports are shared promptly on designated WhatsApp groups.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering and site execution
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Experience with inspection processes (UT/RT, TPI)
• Good coordination, reporting, and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel and stay at site as required
• Attention to detail and accountability for site records
