Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, test, and support electrical rotating machine components, assemblies, and systems.
- Execute engineering activities related to product development, integration, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with senior engineering resources to develop solutions that meet program requirements and business objectives.
- Participate in design reviews and prepare technical presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Work with global engineering teams on strategic projects and organizational initiatives.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, including:
- Design review materials
- Purchase specifications
- Technical reports
- Meeting documentation
- Engineering presentations and visual content
- Provide manufacturing and factory support to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Support laboratory testing, validation activities, and product performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoot engineering challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electric machine design principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical machine theory and applications.
- Experience with GD&T, drawing release processes, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Proficiency with engineering analysis tools such as:
- ANSYS or comparable software
- Stress analysis tools
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Vibration analysis software
- Familiarity with design, testing, and engineering analysis methodologies.
- Experience using Six Sigma tools and creating DFMEAs for components and subsystems.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Advanced PC and engineering software proficiency.

Pay
$80.00 to $90.00 per hour, depending on experience.
