Mechanical Engineer

Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Research Triangle Park, NC Contract Term: 12+ Months Weekly 40.00 hours [Mon-Fri] pay rate-$20-25/hr The Advanced Diagnostics group at BD Technologies and Innovation in seeking a highly talented senior engineer to develop innovative solutions that address current and future health care needs in the area of infectious disease diagnostics. The associate will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team that is developing technologies to address the global infectious disease diagnostics market. The associate will design, build and test microfluidic devices, instrumentation and related components for biological sample purification. Responsibilities will also include development of test methods, collection and analysis of data, and the development and presentation of technical recommendations. This position is a one year temporary position.
