Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or other relevant engineering or science discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Experience with: Reading and interpreting government 2D drawings, designing tooling to manufacture, repair, and assemble aircraft parts and other products, composites manufacturing design, additive manufacturing, NX and/or SolidWorks, tooling and fixture design, structural analysis, environmental systems or test

Qualifications

  • Experience with: Composites manufacturing design preferred, Experience with additive manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with: NX and/or SolidWorks and the ability to Model complex, lofted aerospace parts preferred
  • Experience with: Tooling and fixture design, structural analysis, environmental systems or test

Pay

The projected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
