About the role

Hybrid Sr Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the mechanical design process for new construction and renovation projects.
• Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance, coordination, and constructability.
• Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits.
• Help track project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Engage with clients to understand design needs and contribute to solution development.
• Continue building technical and project management skills while working closely with senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
• 4–8+ years of experience in the MEP industry.
• 3-5+ years of experience in HVAC Systems Design.
• Experience in Commercial, Institutional, and Mission Critical Facilities.
• Knowledge of national codes, standards, and regulations.
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus (or actively pursuing licensure).
• Revit & AutoCAD Software proficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines.
