Mechanical Engineer (10+ years)

About the role

Coffman Engineers’ Honolulu office is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on impactful and complex projects primarily in healthcare, laboratory, commercial, retail, civic and government, higher education, and federal industries.
• Develop technical proposals and take a proactive role in marketing.
• Help build, manage, and mentor a strong team of engineering professionals within a collaborative multi-discipline office.
• Work effectively with all personality types, develop close relationships with clients, and grow professionally.
• Contribute to a mix of technical design and consulting, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years in consulting engineering field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering
• Active local industry involvement preferred
• Passion for great client experiences and design
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Expected annual salary of $90,000 – $110,000.
