Mechanical Drafter III

Responsibilities

• Prepares accurate and on-time delivery of drawings and bills of material to internal and external customers as required for the execution of orders for Custom Engineered Systems.
• Ensures that documentation adheres to requirements and is dimensionally/pictorially complete and accurate.
• Enhances knowledge of departmental methods, products, and drafting/CAD skills through assignments and training.
• SUBMIT IDEAS TO IMPROVE QUALITY, REDUCE COST, AND INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A High School graduate and/or Technical School graduate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of computer-aided drafting (CAD) experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Customer oriented.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to thrive in a time-line driven environment.

Qualifications

• The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $29.00 - $35.18 per hour.
• GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
