Responsibilities
- Design stainless steel food processing systems in Autodesk Inventor 3D software
- Create sheet metal parts for fabrication on laser and press brake, tube components and weldments, pipe components and weldments, and complete mechanical assemblies
- Assist with Engineering Layout Drawing (ELD) generation based on design parameters from the Project Engineer
- Create detailed drawings of Inventor models and assemblies after ELD approval for release to manufacturing
- Production planning, including:
- Mechanical release from engineering to manufacturing
- Coordinate purchasing of special or custom materials
- Plotting all drawings
Requirements
- Minimum AS in Drafting & Design
- Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor 3D design software
- Experience with sheet metal and structural steel preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
