Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Production of construction drawings using Autocad on all projects assigned.
• Actively participates in the preparation and coordination of project documentation including site survey, design & construction documents and detailing all aspects of a project to comply with the design intent.
• Affords assistance in the administration of the construction contract.
• Affords assistance in communication and coordination with all consulting disciplines during the design development, construction documentation and construction administration phases of the project.
• Responsible for completion of the “red-line” coordination drawings.
• Affords assistance in project close-out activities of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design for commercial building/MEP projects
• EIT is a plus, but not required
• Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office (Word and Excel), ComCheck and other energy code forms
