Mechanical Designer

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant design experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with PTC Creo for 3D modeling and 2D engineering drawings.
• Strong working knowledge of PTC Windchill for product data management and document control.
• Experience in mechanical design and development of HVAC-R products or similar equipment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design requirements for sheet metal components.
• Experience in the design and development of copper tubing and related mechanical components.
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering tolerances.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Experience in handling Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and executing engineering changes.
• Ability to maintain accurate design documentation and manage engineering revisions using Windchill.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
