Mechanical Designer

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their team in Columbus, OH.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide general design support for all projects as required using Solidworks
• Design, build, ship, and service products with a strong mechanical aptitude
• Add and update items within Bill of Materials in ERP/MRP system
• Attend and conduct customer design reviews
• Compile documentation and provide technical assistance to Estimating, Sales, Production, and Service teams as needed
• Collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment involving Machine (builders), Project Management, Engineering Teams, Management, and support functions
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in design, technology, or engineering is preferred
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience
• Very strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with AutoCAD (Inventor) and/or Solidworks
