About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and engineering, with experience in product development and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support
• Develop and maintain detailed design documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with product development lifecycle
• Knowledge of materials science and their properties
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerances
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design concepts
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA)
• Good knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
