Mechanical Design Engineer II

About the role

Seeking a supervisor to lead a Powersports Design team, overseeing daily operations, policy management, process improvements, and resource allocation to ensure efficient output. The role requires managing resource planning, analyzing processes for efficiency, and occasionally substituting for management duties. Work conditions involve limited physical activity, potential travel, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Guide a diverse group of engineers in areas such as Frame, Chassis, Appearance, and Power Performance.
• Deliver specifications, development documents, and drawings for multiple model projects.
• Foster internal collaboration, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across a global organization.
• Assign tasks, establish goals, conduct performance reviews, and support associate development through training and hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in Powersports or automotive fields.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience.

Skills
