Mechanical Design Engineer II
What's the Job?
Provide design liaison engineering (DLE) support to manufacturing teams, focusing on rotor and unit assembly areas. Review, evaluate, and define solutions to manufacturing issues as they arise, utilizing hand calculations, CAD, FEA, and other internal tools. Support DLE initiatives aimed at reducing defects through improved engineering definitions and manufacturing processes. Assist in revising engineering specifications and drawings to ensure clarity and accuracy. Conduct technical reviews to substantiate rework and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality standards are met.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Role
The Mechanical Design Engineer II will be part of the engineering support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Pay
$45-51/hr.
Schedule
Onsite work schedule Monday through Friday during first shift hours.
