Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities
- Aid in the design and engineering of machinery, components, and complex assemblies.
- Create digital drawings and models from written and verbal specifications.
- Perform, notate, and communicate accurate measurements.
- Maintain the organization of technical documents in our digital directory.
- Collaborate with the team to produce assembly instructions and operation manuals.
- Contribute to the development of processes for new and rebuilt equipment.
Essential Skills
- Proficient with SolidWorks 3D modeling software.
- Experience in AutoCAD (or similar) 2D design software.
- Mechanical experience or skill set.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and network file organization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is desired.
- Ability to easily acquire and implement new skills 'on the fly'.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
