About the role
Manage commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M in scope. Maintain accurate labor projections and produce reliable forecasts of project financial performance while actively managing work through all phases of execution.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with management to review project status, schedules, and key milestones
- Participate in turnover meetings to ensure seamless transitions from preconstruction to execution and closeout
- Collaborate closely with engineers, field leadership, suppliers, and other subcontractors to coordinate installation activities and drive successful project outcomes
- Influence the financial performance of regional work while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality expectations
- Support customer follow-up as needed
Requirements
- Prior construction project management or sales experience with plumbing and HVAC related projects
- A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred, but not required
- A strong knowledge of mechanical systems, a basic understanding of design, and a strong understanding of how to put together a disciplined estimate
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
