Mechanical Assembly Operator, 1st shift

About the role
You will use hand and power tools to assemble all components of pumps per bill of material, test the assembly to documented specifications, and properly package the product.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and test the assembly to documented specifications.
- Pack products according to guidelines.
- Support and promote 5S in the workplace.
- Contribute to the development of better methods and increased daily production output.
- Offer ideas and suggestions for improving Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs.
Requirements
- Experience reading and using blueprints is required.
- Experience using hand and power tools is required.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.
- Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required on the production floor.
Schedule
- 1st shift: 4:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Thursday.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Pay
The hourly pay for this role is $20.00/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
