Responsibilities
- Inspect quality of incoming parts.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and sub-assemblies.
- Occasionally perform light machine shop duties such as operating drills, sanders, and material cutting equipment.
- Maintain good house-keeping and organization of work area.
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Cleans and maintains equipment, including tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Qualifications
- AA degree or higher required, training will be provided.
- Assembly experience is a plus.
- Being able to read, understand, and follow detailed engineering drawings and process specifications is a strong plus.
- High degree of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and ask for guidance when appropriate.
- Must be reliable and commit to a consistent schedule.
- Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
- Ability to work well with others.
Pay
The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $51,300 and $91,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
