About the role
Join Algas-SDI, a global leader in off-grid and backup clean energy systems, as an Assembly Technician. You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for building and assembling our standard and custom-engineered products.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble components and systems according to drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Verify assemblies meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with Leads to find solutions.
- Prepare work by reviewing instructions, parts lists, and tools needed for each job.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Complete production, quality, and training documentation accurately.
- Support your teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or assembly work.
- Hands-on experience with piping, mechanical, electrical, and wiring connections.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, quality systems, and technical drawings.
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, etc.).
- Dependable team player with sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
