Mechanical Assembler (1st & 2nd Shift)

About the role

The Assembler will assemble or install components as instructed using required hand tools and/or power tools. Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. This includes prepping chassis, installing frames, hosing, and sub-assemblies onto the unit using templates or reading measurements. Tests proper function of final product/units.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Understanding of the product and how the product is expected to perform by the end user
• Understanding of mechanical engineering and metal fabrication
• Limited knowledge of diesel engines and air systems
• Proficient use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and battery-operated tools
• Knowledge of fabrication: cutting and welding
