Mercury Systems is a manufacturing contractor for the Department of War, engineering and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies to provide a technological advantage on the battlefield. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and initiative while excelling in a critical role through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and inspect electronics per documented work instructions
- Interpret job routers, written instructions, and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics
- Perform a variety of inspections with a focus on ensuring assemblies meet or exceed IPC standards
- Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts
- Use hand and/or power tools, and assembly palettes
- Apply material according to specifications and under simulated conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be able to work 2nd shift hours: 2:30pm–12:00am
- 3+ years of electronics assembly and/or inspection experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet production and customer needs
- Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 25lbs for an extended period of time
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
- Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
- This position requires a government security clearance; clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Pay
Full-time equivalent salary ranges:
- $38,300.00 – $76,600.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD, or TX, and all remote employees
- $42,900.00 – $85,800.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH, or MA
- $45,200.00 – $90,400.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ
