Position Overview
Advanced Technologies (AT) is seeking a Mechanical Analysis Intern to support the team by assisting with the development and implementation of unique engineering solutions. The position will be located in Lynchburg, VA at the Advanced Technologies Office.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear environment.
- Create and update drawings and procedures; design, test, examine, manage projects, and procure materials as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Develop and present final reports.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in engineering or physics.
- U.S. citizenship.

Pay
The starting hourly rate in Virginia is expected to be between $25.05 and $31.83 per hour, based on local market factors and other business considerations. The total compensation package may also include a full range of medical, retirement, and other benefits.
