Mechanical Engineering Intern

About the Role

DHE is looking for full or part-time mechanical engineering interns to work as part of an integrated, multi-disciplined design team in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

Qualifications

• Actively in pursuit of a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a mechanical emphasis)
• School accreditations are appropriate for obtaining professional engineering licensure after required experience

Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Word, and Excel would be helpful, but our team of experienced staff expects to work closely with the selected candidate(s) to grow in proficiency using these and a number of other field related software (ie. COMcheck or Carrier Hourly Analysis Program (HAP))
• Candidates must be excited to learn, detailed, organized, personable, and driven to grow in knowledge and experience
• Fluent in AutoCAD and/or Revit as well as Microsoft Office Suite, HAP, COMcheck, LEED, and/or pursuing commissioning credentials are a plus

Pay

Compensation will vary based on experience but typically ranges from $15-$25/hour.
