Mechanic/Technician - Truck Maintenance

About the Role

Complete general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of trucks and equipment. Inspect and maintain equipment in good working condition. Complete work orders and maintain accurate and timely records. Effectively communicate with teammates on worksite. Travel to various job sites and represent NESL with the utmost professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure good working condition
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with teammates on worksite
• Travel to various job sites within a defined geographic territory
• Represent NESL professionally at all times

Requirements

• Post-secondary or Career and Technical Center training in mechanics or diesel preferred, or 2 years of experience in lieu of training
• Minimum of Class C Driver’s License with DOT Medical card (willingness to obtain a Class A CDL within first year of employment)
• Class 7 PA State Inspection License (or willingness to obtain within first year of employment)
• Able to collaborate and communicate across the business
• Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn

• Focus on safety, quality, and accuracy
• High school graduate/GED
