Responsibilities

  • Leads and supervises the Mechanical Operators, ensuring smooth machine operation and consistent adherence to production standards.
  • Oversees the setup, adjustment, and preparation of production machines, ensuring procedures are followed correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintains machine performance and productivity, identifying issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborates with Quality Control to monitor and verify quality control checks, ensuring accurate recording of observations and compliance with specifications.
  • Supervises raw material inspections, ensuring correct handling, usage, and documentation.
  • Guides the team in performing basic tasks, supporting troubleshooting and escalating complex technical issues when needed.
  • Plans and organizes shift schedules, assigns tasks, monitors progress, and ensures timely completion of production activities.
  • Trains, mentors, and supports operators, promoting skill development, safety awareness, and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Ensures full compliance with workplace health & safety rules, actively promoting a safe and responsible work culture.
  • Collaborates with Production and Maintenance departments to resolve problems quickly and optimize machine performance.
  • Maintains accurate logs and production reports, documenting machine status, quality checks, incidents, and shift activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a Technical Institute (TEI/IEK) or other accredited technical schools.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment and automation systems.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems, production monitoring tools).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
