What You'll Do

• Supervising the inspection of vehicles.
• Managing the workflow and activities of shop employees to ensure timely completion of vehicles.
• Ensuring employees have proper equipment and are properly trained.
• Communicating and resolving reconditioning goals, results, and problems with the operations manager.
• Assisting manager in monitoring and evaluating employee job performance and conducting performance appraisals.
• Using management tools to track production and post charges.
• Leading by example and ensuring all employees are treated with respect.
• Monitoring and controlling the use of supplies, materials, and equipment for the recon shop.
• Enforcing all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.

Who You Are

• Minimum: HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience in a related field (vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical and/or body shop experience); or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Preferred: Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Preferred: Strong communication and interaction skills.
• Preferred: A working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

Pay

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $61,100.00 - $91,700.00 per year. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
