About the role
CTR Group is seeking MARINE DIESEL MECHANICS at a Government site in the Williamsburg, VA, area. We are seeking former Watercraft Engineer-Army, former Engineman-Navy, Machinery Technician-Coast Guard, or civilians with extensive work in marine diesel equipment.
We are looking for a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic with a minimum of five years of experience in marine operations, with emphasis on offshore experience and pollution spill response.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine operations: offshore experience & pollution spill response
- 6 years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of Diesel-powered machinery, hydraulic systems and related marine salvage equipment
- Experience in maintaining equipment during marine operations
- Clean background and valid driver's license required
Must be able to perform after hours, weekend and emergency response services as required, including overnight travel, and handle weights up to 100 pounds, with an average of 50 pounds.
Pay
Pay Range: $30.32 - $35.41 per Hour
