Mechanic / Maintenance Operator

Responsibilities

• Work to assemble and disassemble mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry.
• Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment.
• Record parts and materials used as well as prepare time and production records as required.
• Read blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
• Perform light machining tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Self-driven professional with a strong mechanical background.
• Experience in the maintenance industry preferred.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of light machining techniques.

Pay

$32.73 per hour.

Schedule

This is a rotating shift position.
