MECHANIC & MAINTENANCE

About the role

Mechanics are integral to the readiness of all mechanized equipment. They work on specialized vehicles including world-class tanks, giant cargo trucks, sensitive radar systems, and advanced helicopter avionics. Much like Guard Soldiers, these mechanics ensure that every piece of equipment is always prepared to respond to any mission at any time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various types of equipment
• Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical issues
• Ensure all equipment meets operational readiness standards
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to optimize equipment performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in automotive or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
• Understanding of electronic systems and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of military vehicle operation

Skills

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
