About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic Level B to perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service, and repair on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues
- Maintain and repair bus systems
- Conduct major overhauls
- Perform minor body repairs
- Operate heavy machinery for diagnostics and roadside repairs
- Follow safe work practices
- Assist with inventory management
- Document work in the Fleet Management System
Requirements
- At least 5 years of automotive or diesel mechanic experience
- Certifications such as A/C and ASE (preferred)
- Ability to lift at least 60 lbs
- Strong understanding of automotive systems
- Ability to work well with others
