Mechanic III, Maintenance

Main Responsibilities

· Collaborates with Utilities Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure work activities are compliant with GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements. · Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on Clean and Dirty equipment that provide uninterrupted Utilities for the site. · Develop efficient maintenance job plans, procedures, and work instructions for site equipment. · Recommends spare parts and preventive maintenance procedures to optimize equipment reliability. · Routes documentation for spare parts requests and work order submissions.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma with 5+ years’ relevant GMP / industry experience OR an Associate degree with 4+ years’ relevant GMP / industry experience OR equivalent. · Advanced experience and knowledge of maintenance disciplines within a cGMP Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. · Demonstrated knowledge of DCS, PLC, and/or Building Automation Systems (BAS) control systems. · Proven knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). · Demonstrated experience problem solving and troubleshooting systems in a pharmaceutical environment required.
