About the role
Independently performs general maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical, utility, and associated systems across assigned facilities. Completes demand and scheduled preventive maintenance in compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory codes. Maintains facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments and may work varied shifts and weekends. May travel to other BayCare facilities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical, utility, and associated systems.
- Complete demand and scheduled preventive maintenance in compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory codes.
- Maintain facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments.
- Work varied shifts and weekends as required.
- Travel to other BayCare facilities as needed.
Requirements
- 4 years experience in an acute healthcare setting is acceptable in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 years as a Service Related Technician is required.
- 3 years hospital maintenance experience is preferred.
- 1 year high-rise mechanical and/or utilities systems experience is preferred.
- Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License is preferred.
- Driver's License (State of Florida) required for team members supporting the Real Estate Division or assigned a company vehicle.

- Full Time, Non-Exempt
- Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Sunday - Thursday)
- Weekend Work: Every
