Schedule

Second Shift, Monday through Friday. The schedule is generally 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, based on customer needs.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $32.96 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Job Overview

This is a Second Shift Mechanic Helper position based out of the Hatfield, PA location. The position is assigned to the Lube Truck and will involve extensive work outside, at customer sites. You will work alongside a Lube Technician, supporting the technician while developing your skillset.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Assist in performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment
• Follow all company, client, state, and federal safety requirements
• Maintain a set of tools required to perform the work
• Provide support as needed to move equipment
• Maintain a high level of communication with the company mechanic
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Document work performed in the CDK system

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness and interest in learning a trade
• Technical school/technical college or related work experience preferred
• Good computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Maintain a sufficient tool inventory to perform assigned tasks

Work Environment

As a Mechanic Helper with Komatsu Company‑Owned Dealer East, the physically demanding work is performed in industrial environments and includes exposure to significant environmental conditions, including but not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing; working at heights; carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, and crouching; the ability to lift/carry 50 pounds; hand/eye and motor coordination; and overtime as needed. The workplace may be subject to noise, heat, cold, odors, hazards, and atmospheric exposures.
