Lamers Bus Lines, a leader in school bus and motor coach transportation, is looking for experienced diesel mechanics to join our team working on the school bus fleet in Baraboo. Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on motor coaches.
• Identify and fix engine, transmission, and heavy equipment issues.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles meet all regulations.
• Maintain detailed service logs for all repairs and inspections.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and fleet improvement projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience with buses, trucks, or other heavy equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).
• ASE certifications (a plus, but not required).
• Safety-conscious and team-oriented mindset.
