Responsibilities
- Mechanics inspect equipment for damage or failures.
- Perform diagnostics and repair service for equipment component failures.
- Remove and replace damaged or defective components, and operate support equipment including forklifts, man lifts, and service trucks.
- May also be required to perform basic welds, clean the shop area, and perform stocking functions.
- Will be cross trained to work on cranes and heavy equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Mechanical experience working with diesel engines, technical school a plus.
- Must comply with established safety rules, policies and procedures, including wearing required safety equipment.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to vibration.
- The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $26.54/HR.
Schedule
Work involves nights, weekends, and holidays.
