Mechanic B

Description

• Repairs vending machines (Snack, Coffee, or Grainger) based on sales/work order requirements
• Replaces defective parts of components and system such as tubing and electrical circuits; makes necessary modifications on machines
• Periodically overhauls machines, which may include but is not limited to reconnecting loose wires, checking refrigeration systems for maintenance of proper temperatures. Inspects interior of machine, checks for defects; ensures wire harnesses are tied together and checks for short circuiting and replaces line cord with GFCI protection
• Verifies that all functions of the machine work properly including the following: price & test vend all machine motors, coin test machine, test operation of drop sensor, delivery bucket, and make adjustments as necessary
• Installs wires, trays, coin mechs, and validators
• Troubleshoots various issues related to equipment being produced
• Ensures machine is clean and any scratches are painted / repaired
• Accountable for the overall quality of the equipment being produced down the line
• Fulfills other duties as assigned

  Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with Vending equipment required
  • Problem solver
  • Critical thinking skills required to diagnose and fix vending machines; Attention to detail is imperative
  • Must be able to multi-task; Must be able to follow a production schedule
  • Prior experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools and cordless hand tools; Ability to follow direction
