About the role
Ideal candidate is responsible for industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with the team. They must be a well-rounded individual who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. Maintenance mechanics are expected to perform emergency repairs, regular scheduled repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency repairs, scheduled repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment
- Execute mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Good math and measurement skills
- Energetic, independent, and self-motivated
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of production processes and equipment
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Proficient in testing electrical systems
- Knowledge of basic mechanics hand tools
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit
- Regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
