About the role
Responsible for managing grain storage and transportation operations. Oversee risk management strategies and participate in market analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily grain storage operations including receiving, storing, and shipping grains.
- Oversee risk management strategies to minimize financial risks associated with grain storage and transportation.
- Participate in market analysis to inform strategic decisions regarding grain pricing and supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to grain handling and transportation.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grain storage and transportation operations.
- Proven experience in risk management and market analysis.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations governing grain handling and transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.

- Knowledge of grain handling and storage practices.
- Experience with grain transportation logistics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.
