Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and standards.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any hazards immediately.
- Conduct regular assessments and rounds of all building systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify potential issues and proactively implement solutions.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building equipment and systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all maintenance tasks to prevent system downtime.
- Perform minor painting tasks and assist with general housekeeping to maintain facility aesthetics and functionality.
- Monitor and maintain air conditioning, refrigeration, and chilled water equipment.
- Diagnose and repair any issues to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain and repair hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, and filters to ensure consistent water supply.
- Respond to and perform services for tenants as requested in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with new system installations to ensure proper operation and integration.
- Ensure systems are operated and maintained in compliance with local, state, county, or federal codes.
- Maintain necessary documentation and records for compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Possess S12, S13, and S14 certifications.
- Availability to work Thursday through Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with flexibility for on-call or after-hours service requests as required.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic/Operating Engineer or similar role in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and operate various tools and equipment.
