Responsibilities

  • Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment to identify mechanical issues before they become bigger problems.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive, trailer, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using professional tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
  • Repair or replace worn and damaged components with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Complete tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and other routine maintenance.
  • Repair electrical components and solder connections when needed.
  • Maintain organized service records and document completed repairs.
  • Work closely with the operations team to keep equipment field-ready and minimize downtime.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a mechanic or equipment technician.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop effective repair solutions.
  • Comfortable using power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic technology.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in various shop conditions.
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work and pays close attention to detail.
  • Dependable, accountable, and committed to doing the job right the first time.
  • A team player who communicates well and is always willing to lend a hand.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School/GED

Salary Range $60,000-$75,000
